Turning Leaf who???

     Short post since I am away from my computer. I just thought I would let everyone know, YES!!! We are still here!! I know it has been forever since we posted because we have been super busy!! This is a blessing. I have changed my work hours as a school nurse and am now working full time for Turning Leaf Crafts and part time for the schools. Guess what that means?!?!?!?! More time to play, craft, antique, distress, hunt up goodies, paint, sand, renew, redo, etc. Ha! I guess you get my drift! Soooooo, that means that even though I don't see the millions of people that I know are following the blog in my follow list, we know you are there. Thanks for loving what we do. We could not do this without all of you! I will post some pictures when I am at home on my computer. Thanks again for the love!! Please don't forget us if you have fun, crafty, cool things in mind. We have been doing lots of interior design and remodel work (Just FYI) so keep us in mind for those sorts of projects too!


     Also, in case you did not know or have forgotten, we have a booth @Upscale Resale in Covington, TN. It is a antique/consignment shop with 2 floors and lots of great goodies. It is stuffed to the brim with treasures so stop on by and check out our booth. We are upstairs. I just redid the booth and changed it to look more like US , well ME actually and I know you are gonna need something in that booth! I just know you are!! Spend a Saturday looking around this beautiful town square and do a little shopping. There are some really cute shops on the square and there is certainly something for everyone!! Not trying to brag or anything...

     Coming from a small local business of our own, we believe in supporting local talent. I think it is important to support your community and important in keeping the small business world up and running. I feel it is important to promote locally and to share these thoughts and beliefs with others in your community.

     With that being said,  I thought I would share these beautiful photos my friend took of my little girl (who BTW in these pictures does not look like a 6 yr old!).  Did you like how I just transitioned right into this being about my baby. Tee hee!

       My friends name is Monica Parks and she owns Monica Parks Photography where she takes pictures in Millington, Tn.

     Here is a little background:  This is a friend I have had a very long time (which we will not reveal the amount of time!!)  She was my friend when I was about  Ella's age and a little bit older. We did all kinds of fun things together and even did a lip sync performance together when we were little... what’s that you ask? To the Dirty Dancing soundtrack of course!! LOL!! Anyway, back to the present.  A few weeks ago she asked for Ella to be a model for some photos she was wanting to try out. She takes all sorts of photos and was wanting to try something different. She wanted to do some Shabby-Chic photos. I think she hit the nail on the head!!! She does an awesome job and I wanted to share a few with you.

     I have no doubt in my mind that after you see these pictures of my little super model and see the pictures on her website, that you will be picking up that phone to call her or shooting her an email to set up a time for your family ASAP!! Whew! Not complaining by any means, but whew!!

     Well, life has been busy and so has our business. We are certainly not complaining, in fact we are doing just the opposite. Keep it coming!! We love it when you love us!! I just wanted to quickly share some pictures of a few of the projects we have been working on.
